Sound and music are a very important part of a documentary, music adds to the atmosphere and the vibe of the documentary. When researching sound I knew that I wanted to feature heavy rock tracks with a bit of pop to give an upbeat feel. However, finding songs that can be used is a challenge, two websites I found useful are; Bensound and Purple Planet. These two websites offer great songs that are copyright free.
