My Own Story Board

For this blog I did the drawing of the story board and then Isaac did the editing through Imovie, I watched a few videos to get an idea of what a story board should be. The key for me was (this took quite a lot of tries) was to not be all about detail because that is not what a story board is about: a story board is a little summary of the scene and I found that quite hard to communicate. I found story boarding useful to give a vision into what a scene may look like for example where the camera is, I aimed to apply the rule of thirds but also the 180° rule. The disadvantages of this are; you don’t really get a sense of depth of fielded and hand drawn storyboards are very time consuming. Photos are quicker and make it more efficient but present more control.
